In a previous post I described SmartMovie in detail. It is a great video player app for symbian S60, UIQ and Windows mobile phones. Supported video formats include avi, mp4, 3gp and flv. SmartMovie is a shareware, means you have to buy it after trying for a limited period video playback. Earlier (Upto versio 3.41) it was easily available as pirated copies at various forums and sites. But from version 4.xx onwards lonelycatgames made its registration process online, to verify whether the registration key is genuine or fake.
Since then many solutions were devised by hackers to bypass this (Like running the app via a “Loader” etc). I tried many of them for my Nokia N79 but nothing worked satisfactorily. At last I found this one, just install and enjoy, no registration (Or SM loader) required. Compatible with all Symbian S60 3rd and 5th Ed. (Ver. 9.x) phones (Nokia N73, N79, N95, N86, N97, X6, 5800, 5530, 5230, 5233 etc).
The only catch: it is unsigned so you will have to sign it before installing. Also turn off motion sensor before running SmartMovie as it interferes with its smooth running and sometimes the phones restarts.
