Navifirm Plus is a very useful software to download official firmware (OS/ROM) files of Nokia phones from Nokia Care servers. These files are required to flash a Nokia mobile with the existing/hacked or the latest firmware (re-install or update OS). There are situations (dead phone, white-screen, corrupt settings etc) when flash process is a life saver and saves you money as well. There are quite a few methods to download firmware files from Nokia servers and Navifirm+ is definitely the easiest one out of these. Thanks to its developer, Navifirm is constantly under development with new features added to every new version. Recently Navifirm+ version 1.7 was released with following new features –
1. Runs on .NET Framework 4.0
2. Phone information (RM, photo, core platform etc) is shown as tool-tips
3. Amount of data transfer is shown while loading product/release/variants etc

Note that Navifirm version 1.7 onwards requires .NET Framework 4.0 (or higher) to run in Windows. It will give error if you have older .NET framework, in which case you can download and install .NET Framework 4.0 free from Microsoft’s official site.
