Nokia recently rolled out a minor update to Nokia Store app – QML phone client for Symbian Belle phones. The new stable version is 3.30.014 – a minor upgrade over the previous one. Interface and options are essentially the same as earlier version so it’s mainly a bug-fix release (fixing stability and other issues) plus some under-the-hood improvements. You can update your Nokia Store app by launching it in phone – it will check for update and notify if available for your phone model. Now you can update Over-The-Air (via GPRS/3G/Wi-Fi). Alternatively you can also download and install latest version of Nokia Store app (.sisx file) from here.
Interestingly I have also noticed a huge drop in app prices at Nokia Store recently. All apps/games/themes prices have been slashed down to 1/5th of the original. For example an app that was priced at Rs. 50 (US$1) is now at Rs. 10. I don’t know whether this price-cut is temporary or permanent, India-specific or universal. There is no official statement from Nokia regarding these changes – at least not in my knowledge.
