Today Nokia started to roll out the Belle Feature Pack 2 update for Nokia 603, 700, 701 and 808 PureView. Older S^3/Anna phones have already got the Belle Refresh update around a month back. Nokia Belle FP2 Software version is shown as 113.010.1506 (for 603, 700, 701, 808) and 113.010.1507 (for 808 PureView) in the device manager. Update version date is shown as 30.8.2012. Many improvements, tweaks, new features and bug-fixes have been incorporated in Belle FP2 update.

Interestingly just few hours after Belle FP2 rollout, Nokia also released updates for Social (v1.6.32) and Calender (v10.6.1) apps. These updates are also expected soon for older Belle phones as well.
How to Update?
For Nokia 603, 700, 701 and 808PureView, Belle FP2 (at around 13-17 MB, not a major update) is available OTA (Over The Air) as well as via Nokia Suite (large size over 250MB), besides it is also there at Navifirm. So if you own any of these phones, go to Menu/SW Update app, let the phone check for update and it will notify you if the update is available. Alternatively you may also update by connecting the phone to PC and launching Nokia Suite (but it will take longer). Note that OTA update just updates the OS components and does not install the whole firmware (small size) but Nokia Suite download and installs the complete updated firmware (large size) and install it in the phone afresh.
Also note that if you have your phone hacked before updating then it will remain hacked if you updated OTA. However if you update via Nokia Suite (or via flashing) then you will have to hack the phone again (follow the method given here) to install unsigned apps and full system access.
Update – Shortly after update roll-out, Nokia has pulled update files from its servers due to “certain issues” reported by users. However issues will be fixed and modified update files will be available soon as Nokia promised officially at forum Nokia. So wait for a while if you have not updated still.
Update (10/10/2012) – The problem causing issues of Belle FP2 update have been resolved and it has started rolling out again today. If you did not update your phone to FP2 this past week then you can update Over The Air or via Nokia Suite. However if you updated your phone with the early Belle FP2 then it is highly recommended to update again which can be done via Nokia Suite only (not OTA) – connect your phone with PC and launch Nokia Suite – click “Software update” icon at the toolbar – wait for a while until Nokia Suite loads the firmware version of the phone – click the “reinstall” text – Nokia Suite will download and install Belle FP2 in your phone.
