10 Best Affordable 3 GB RAM Android phones under $150/ Rs.10,000

Update – When we first wrote this post in June, 2015, the affordable price-tag for 3 GB RAM phones was capped at $300 which has dropped to $150 now. This shows how fast paced the mobility world is!

“Cheap & Best” 3 GB RAM Android phones

First introduced in 2013, 3 GB RAM was considered a premium specification found in high-end Android phones until first half of 2015. But the scenario has changed now with more and more flagship droids boasting of 4 gigs of RAM. This has pushed the 3 GB RAM specification to the mid-range segment. As you know, more RAM in a phone means faster performance and smooth multi-tasking (no or negligible lag when multiple apps are open at a time, smooth lag free gaming experience etc). So the more RAM your device has the better it is. But as is the case with all premium things, a single extra gig of RAM makes the phone very expensive. All the flagship 3 GB RAM phones of big-brands cost over $400 which is out of the budget for most consumers. Fortunately many second tier companies have come up with their ultra-affordable phones with 3 GB RAM over the past few months. A low price tag does not mean that such phones are sub-standard in quality and do not match to their big counterparts. In fact most of these are amazing phones with an impressive feature set. So if you want to buy a fast, 3 GB RAM phone without burning a big hole in your pocket then this post is for you. We are listing here the best affordable (under $150/Rs.10,000) 3 GB RAM phones currently available in the market –
