Breaking iNews: iPad 2 Announced – Thinner (8.8mm) and More Powerful with A5 CPU

Live from iPad 2 event (March 2nd 2011): Finally, Steve Jobs announced the much anticipated iPad 2 at Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco today. As expected the latest iPad 2 will be much thinner (33%) than previous iPad (and even thinner than iPhone), will be faster having an A5 (dual core CPU), will have dual cameras (Front and rear), lighter (1.3 pounds), will have the latest iOS 4.3 (With many new apps like iMovie, Facetime etc) and will cost almost the same as the iPad 1 (price from $499 to over $700 according to model).

The best part of the breaking iNews is that you won’t have to wait much for iPad 2 as it will officially hit US stores on March 11 (8 days from now) with Verizon and AT&T. Rest of the world will not have to wait much longer either – March 25th is the date of iPad 2 availability announced in “many of other countries”.

iOS 4.3 will also become available on 11th of March for iPad, iPhone (GSM) and iPod Touch (3rd and 4th gen).
