Yesterday, Mozilla released version 9 of Firefox, their popular web browser. According to the promise made earlier this year Mozilla is releasing a new version of Firefox every 6 weeks. Firefox 9 is released for Windows, Mac, Linux and Android (version 2.1 or above, for both smartphones and tablets). Following are the new features of the latest version –

2. Text-overflow is better handled now
4. Theme integration for Mac OS X Lion has been improved
5. Two-finger swipe navigation is added for Mac OS X Lion
Besides many stability and security issues have been fixed in this version.
The new Firefox 9 is available free as an update to the older installation (to update go to “Firefox menu/Help/About Firefox”) or as a new setup-download from Mozilla’s official site.
