Chinese phone maker UMi today announced a new Android phone called UMi Z with impressive high end specs. UMi is known for offering quality Android phones at a very affordable price point. Their current flagship, the UMi Plus E with 6 GB RAM is available right now for just $230. Now UMi Z will heat up the Android scene with the raw power it packs. The most striking feature of UMi Z is the SoC it sports – the latest Helio X27 from MediaTek. It happens to be the first ever phone to pack this powerful processor. With 10 cores of Cortex-A72 clocked at an insane 2.6 GHz, Helio X27 is a big upgrade over it’s predecessor, the Helio X25. Coupled with 4 GB of RAM, X27 makes UMi Z a powerful device.
