Xiaomi Mi6 specs/price leak at the Xiaomi Online Store
Xiaomi Mi6, the Xiaomi flagship for the next year has been listed at their online store xiaomidevice.com Xiaomi sells it’s products (Android phones, accessories etc) outside China via this site with international shipping available to anywhere in the world. No image of Xiaomi Mi6 is available as of now but the listing reveals some details about the upcoming phone. As you can see in the image even the price is mentioned – $499.99 for 4 GB RAM/64GB ROM variant. The release date is shown as February 2017 and the processor is Snapdragon 830.
As the device may be still under development some details seems to be too premature to be correct. For example the MIUI version is shown as 7 while Xiaomi has already launched the MIUI 8. Similarly many other details sound older, matching Xiaomi Mi5, the current flagship. Like
5.2 inches full HD screen
4 GB RAM
64 GB ROM (non-expandable)
16 MP main and 4 MP front camera
In an answer to a question asked by a customer, Xiaomi official claims that “Xiaomi Mi6 will be released next year Q1”. Besides Mi6, another still-not-available Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is also listed at the site with the same $500 price-tag. Mi Note 2 is a phablet with high-end specs – Snapdragon 820 CPU, 4 GB RAM, 64 GB ROM, 5.7” full HD display, 16MP OIS f/2.0 6P Sony main camera, 5 MP front camera, 4000mAh battery. It is claimed to be available “soon”.
Going by the hints in the listing we can say that Xiaomi Mi6 will be unveiled in January 2017 with the next generation Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU, 4 or 6 GB RAM, 32/64/128 GB internal memory, Android 7 Nougat and (hopefully) 3D Touch and some other innovative features.
